Due to the ever rising price of gasoline it seems that water power cars have had a lot of media attention lately, and if you are anything like me you probably had a good laugh and completely dismissed the whole idea. However after doing a lot of research and hours of surfing on the internet I found out that the idea of cars that run on water is not so far fetched as it first sounds. Read on and I will try to explain the basics of how to run a car on water.

First of all lets get one thing straight about water power cars, and that is you can’t run cars on water alone (that really would be something to have a good laugh at) so forget the idea of filling up your gas tank with just water and never having to go to the gas pumps again. These cars that run on water use only a small amount of water as an additive to the regular gasoline in your vehicle.

So how do these water power cars work?

Well quite simply the water is turned into a gas. With the aid of a clever little device called a hydrogen generator and the use of electrolysis to break the water down into its two main molecules (hydrogen and oxygen). A by product of this process is HHO or brown’s gas, a gas that is highly flammable. This gas is then mixed with your regular gasoline and burnt in your engine in the usual way.

Very little water is needed for these water power cars and just a small container of about a quart installed under the hood of your car is enough to provide hundreds of gallons of HHO gas. This will last for months before needing to be topped up and will give you great gas mileage improvements and reduced exhaust emissions.

So how expensive are these cars that run on water? Well that’s the beauty of these hydrogen generators for cars. By using a few easily obtained items from your local garage or auto shop and with just some basic mechanical knowledge you can convert your own cars into water power cars for as little as $150 or less. And the whole thing is powered using your existing cars battery.

Some of the advantages of these hydrogen generators for cars are as follows. Firstly of course there are the fantastic gas mileage improvements that you will get. And as these water power cars burn the fuel more cleanly and efficiently you will also get better engine performance, longer engine life, and less harmful exhaust emissions.

The idea of water power cars is not a new one and the technology behind it has been around for quite a while. Due to the recent oil and gasoline crisis this technology has had somewhat of a re-birth and has been improved to such a high degree that it is really catching on in a big way. If you think that you will be able to run cars on water and nothing else then think again, and forget the idea of filling up your gas tank with a hose pipe. What these water power cars do is use a Hydrogen Generator for vehicles to convert small water droplets into HHO gas (hydrogen oxygen) which is then mixed with the regular gasoline to increase the efficiency of you engine and so get more MPG.

This Hydrogen Generator for vehicles is small enough to be installed under the hood of your car next to the engine. It generates the HHO gas using a small reservoir of ordinary tap water and the electricity from your cars battery. There is very little modification needed to your existing engine and the whole thing can be easily reversed with no damage if you ever wanted to remove it for any reason.

So if I where you I would seriously think about converting to water power cars before the next big increase in gasoline prices.

It’s obvious to anyone who regularly drives nowadays that gas prices have been increasing a great deal over the past decade. Some people don’t even recall when gas was less than $2 per gallon, even though it actually used to be less than $1 per gallon. Now, it’s up to $3 and $4 in some places. Even so, people need to drive places, and working wages don’t necessarily compensate for rising gas prices, so something has to be done to compensate on your own for the gas fluctuations. In fact, there is – there’s a method to increase the fuel efficiency of your car by anywhere from 15 – 50%; that method is car water power, otherwise known is hydrogen generators.

This is done by using hydrogen generators, or HHO cells. They basically take a container of water, charge it with an electric current and strip the water down to its constituent elements of hydrogen and oxygen. What this does is it allows for hydrogen, a pretty volatile element, to be sent into the fuel combustion chamber of the engine of your car. Little hydrogen gas is needed to produce a respectable amount of energy. There’s also the added advantage of it being a good deal cleaner to use than pure gasoline. The best way to use HHO cells is to have multiple containers situated; that way you have more to draw from and they’ll last longer.

Hydrogen fuel can’t completely replace gasoline yet – you’d need too much room in the car and water would weigh the car itself down and outstrip the benefits of increased efficiency by giving it more weight to carry. You should have at least one or two containers though, as this will be sufficient for most driving needs. Hydrogen fuel power isn’t advanced enough yet to make it a long-term fuel source. A practice is to keep your engine maintained. Even with HHO fuel cells, your engine is still going to accumulate some residue, though not nearly as much as normal. This can be helped if you add a condenser.

If you do decide to go the do-it-yourself route, be sure that whatever HHO kit you buy has a complete manual, and online or phone support for help should you need to verify you did everything correctly. The possibility of an accident coming from a spark setting off a bit of the oxygen in the water is, needless to say, very undesirable. The instructions to build the converter also need to be concise -the process isn’t really difficult, but it’s more complicated than simply attaching a few hoses and wires here and there. Make sure you’ve got all the support and advice you will need for the entire process.

Also, should you decide to remove the HHO cells from your car, it’s easy to do with no damage or change to your car’s workings. People have voiced concerns about tampering with the fuel capabilities of a car voiding its warranty, but it won’t bother the warranty to add an HHO cell to add more fuel efficiency. Some people who add an HHO cell will find that they only have to buy about half as much gas at the pump. So what are you waiting for? Start utilizing car water power to save on gas today!
